ARDESTO GWH-HB: New Gas Water Heaters with Reduced NOx Emissions
In February 2025, updated European requirements for NOx emissions from gas-fired equipment have taken effect in Ukraine. As a result, the market is gradually phasing out outdated gas water heaters that do not meet environmental standards. They are being replaced by models designed in accordance with eco-design standards. Among these solutions are the ARDESTO GWH-HB Low NOx series of instantaneous water heaters, which meet current requirements.
Compliance with Standards as the New Norm
The period from 2025 to 2026 has become decisive in the implementation of new standards. The new regulations require a significant reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, making the equipment safer not only for the environment but also for users’ health. The ARDESTO GWH-HB series gas instantaneous water heaters are among the first in Ukraine to be licensed for sale in accordance with updated legislation.

Model ARDESTO GWH-HB03 (chimney-type)

Capacity is 10 L/min, rated power is 20 kW. Available in white, silver, and black panel options. The heat exchanger is made of oxygen-free copper (2 kg), and a brass valve with an operating pressure of 0.025–0.8 MPa is installed. Features automatic pulse ignition and a 12-row T-shaped burner with reduced NOx emissions. Powered by two D-cell batteries (DC3V). The protection system includes overheating control (up to 75 °C), overpressure control, and dry burn protection.
Model ARDESTO GWH-HB02 (turbocharged)

Capacity reaches 11 L/min, power – 22 kW. The housing is white. The heat exchanger is made of oxygen-free copper (1.55 kg), and it features a proportional valve and a low-nitrogen burner. It operates on a 220 V (AC) power supply using a DC motor. The set includes a flue pipe with a diameter of 60/90 mm. It features standard safety systems: protection against overheating, excess pressure, and dry firing.
