With a power rating of 2200 W, the ARDESTO IR-C2232-BL iron heats up to its maximum temperature in 25-35 seconds. The ceramic coating of the soleplate ensures smooth gliding over fabric surfaces, while the temperature control dial allows the appropriate ironing setting to be selected according to the type of material.
To smooth out creases, the iron provides continuous steam output and a steam boost function that helps tackle stubborn wrinkles in fabrics. The water spray function allows additional moisture to be applied to areas of fabric that require more thorough ironing. Vertical steaming expands clothing care options without the need to place garments on an ironing board.
Anti-scale protection and safe operation
The iron is equipped with a built-in polymer filter in the water tank that softens water and prevents scale buildup. The filter does not require replacement, while the self-cleaning system simplifies device maintenance. The drip-stop system prevents water droplets from reaching the fabric during ironing.
For additional safety, the iron features overheating protection and an automatic shut-off function with an audible alert. If the iron remains stationary, the power automatically switches off after 30 seconds in the horizontal position or after 8 minutes in the vertical position.
The water tank has a capacity of 320 ml, and the 1.9 m power cord features a swivel attachment that helps prevent twisting during use.
